This is the Thesis I presented in the 2nd Pan-Hellenic Student Conference on Informatics, Computer Engineering and Related Technologies (Samos 2008). The lossless compression algorithm I created is an innovation, as it is a new way of compressing data with very good results. This Thesis has been published twice.
